No — just place your phone directly on the pad with your case on. MagTrio charges through most phone cases up to 3mm thick, which covers almost every silicone, TPU, clear, and leather case on the market.
The only cases that may interfere are thick rugged/armour cases above 3mm, cases with metal plates, magnets, or built-in kickstands, and wallet cases with cards stored on the back — cards and metal can block the wireless signal.
For the earbuds pad, simply place your AirPods or Galaxy Buds charging case as-is — no need to open the lid or remove anything.
MagTrio requires a 20W or higher USB-C PD adapter to charge all 3 devices at full speed. A USB-C cable is included in the box — you just need the adapter.
Already own one of these? You're good to go — any iPhone 20W adapter, Samsung 25W or 45W adapter, or any branded USB-C fast charger rated 20W or above.
Old 5W iPhone cube chargers (the small white square ones) and USB-A adapters won't deliver enough power — they may charge only one device slowly or not power all 3 pads.
Don't have a compatible adapter? Any 20W+ USB-C PD adapter works. Brands like Portronics, Ambrane, or Belkin are available on Amazon from ₹399.
Absolutely. MagTrio is CE and FCC certified and built with 3 layers of protection — surge protection to guard against voltage spikes, overheat protection that automatically reduces power if the pad gets too warm, and foreign object detection that stops charging if it senses keys, coins, or metal near the pad.
Once your devices reach 100%, MagTrio automatically stops active charging to protect your battery health. There is no risk of overcharging.
